Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time General Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services, manage a wide range of medical conditions, and work effectively within our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary healthcare, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions.
  • Offer preventive care services such as health screenings, immunizations, and wellness checks.
  • Manage chronic conditions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Perform minor procedures, including wound care and skin checks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in patient education and health promotion activities.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory, legal, and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and attend relevant training sessions.

Key Requirements:

  • Medical Degree with current registration from the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or equivalent qualifications (or working towards).
  • Experience in a general practice setting, capable of handling a diverse patient base.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, committed to providing patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and other health insurance schemes.
  • High standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
  • Valid Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check (if required).

Desirable:

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Additional qualifications or special interests (e.g., dermatology, chronic disease management, mental health).
