Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time General Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services, manage a wide range of medical conditions, and work effectively within our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions.
- Offer preventive care services such as health screenings, immunizations, and wellness checks.
- Manage chronic conditions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Perform minor procedures, including wound care and skin checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Participate in patient education and health promotion activities.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory, legal, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage in continuous professional development and attend relevant training sessions.
Key Requirements:
- Medical Degree with current registration from the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or equivalent qualifications (or working towards).
- Experience in a general practice setting, capable of handling a diverse patient base.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, committed to providing patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of Medicare and other health insurance schemes.
- High standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
- Valid Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check (if required).
Desirable:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Additional qualifications or special interests (e.g., dermatology, chronic disease management, mental health).
