Lisa Chen is a caring and dedicated member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). She holds the title of Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and AN status. With my warm-hearted approach, she is here to assist you in your journey to better health and well-being.
Lisa’s expertise lies in being a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) as well, making her well-equipped to offer personalised consultations and group education sessions. Whether you’re seeking support in a private practice setting or an aged care facility, she is here to help. Lisa had the privilege of working with patients from diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds, each with unique health conditions such as diabetes, weight management, osteoporosis, malnutrition, and cardiovascular disease, to name a few.
Being fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Chaozhou, Lisa ensures that language doesn’t become a barrier in our communication. Emphasizing a “client-centered” approach, her ultimate goal is to provide you with the highest standard of care and empower you to achieve your best possible well-being.
Lisa understands that healthcare expenses can be a concern for many. So, you’ll be pleased to know that if your health fund participates in a member arrangement, your treatment costs may be reduced. The priority is to make quality care accessible to as many individuals as possible.
Qualifications: earned a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Sydney University in 2010, and prior to that, completed a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition as well as Business (International Business) from the University of New South Wales in 2008. Moreover, holds a Certificate of Diabetes Education and Management from UTS, further enhancing her expertise in diabetes care.
Rest assured, she is a fully registered dietitian with DAA under the number 11-061, her professional memberships ensure that I stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
Along her journey, Lisa have been recognized for her dedication with the Certificate of the Australian Health Change course, and she is proud to be a Full APD and Full AN.
